This space was an addendum to a multi-room project; we helped soften its edges by adding warmth and carpentry detail.
The evolution: We started with the dining table, chairs, area rug and pendant. From there, we worked with a carpenter to craft this custom wainscoting and sourced this textural, subtly patterned wallpaper which, together, create a lived in, character-driven quality. Last: We saved this gorgeous fiddle leaf fig from a potential doomsday (it really was struggling to find a permanent residence in the home).
Favorite element: The wainscoting was brilliantly executed and I’m not sure if there’s anything I love more than feature walls.
Fun fact: The wainscoting was drawn, by hand, on the wall prior to installation.
